The new MoNet event calendar opens to the public

Nov 22, 2010

Fruit of the extension of the "event" object type, and implemented with a new search interface, it offert the public a quick access to the events from all the subsites of Modena's City Network.

Collaboration continues between RedTurtle and the City of Modena, Plone pioneer and historical Customer of ours. This time the spotlights are on the new event calendar, that soon will be made available within PloneGov Italia, as usual for MoNet.

The new calendar is an aggregator of all the events that are created in the several subsites of the Civic Network, and is based on an extension of Plone standard events, that are implemented with new fields and most of all of the possibility of specifying "exceptions" in recurring events (as an example, for an event scheduled every wednesday, one can exclude the dates of national holydays).
