The CMCC is a research center on science and climate policy. Through its network structure - consisting of research divisions, partners and associated centers - linking in a single network both public and private Italian research institutions, the CMCC integrates the disciplines involved in the study of climate change and of policies for adaptation and mitigation, promotes collaboration and synergy, provides technical and scientific support to the institutions.
Ferrara's National Health Agency
The AUSL (National Health Agency) of Ferrara was established on 1 July 1994, by merging into a single company the previous five public health agencies of the province. The AUSL's territory coincides with the Province of Ferrara. It covers an area of 2,632 square kilometers, with a population density of around 132 people per square kilometer and with the typical problems of population distribution between urban and rural settlements.
Ospedale Sant'Anna Ferrara
The Sant'Anna is the hospital of the city of Ferrara and the point of reference for the health of the province. The staff who work there consists of 380 medical directors, 66 managers, 142 university employees, 1408 people in the health sector, 442 technicians and 175 administrative employees. In addition, there are interns and students of degree courses of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ferrara. It includes 744 ordinary beds in hospital and 116 Day Hospital beds.
Italian Registry of Bone Marrow Donors
The Italian Registry of Bone Marrow Donors aim to provide to those waiting for a transplant of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), without a sibling donor (HLA-matched family), a not familiar voluntary adult or cord blood unit, with the immunogenetic characteristics needed to allow the therapeutic treatment with a good chance of success.
ARPA Veneto
The Regional Agency for Environmental Prevention and Protection of Veneto, established by the Regional Law n ° 32/1996 and operational since 1997, has two closely related objectives: protection (through environmental controls that protect people's health and territorial safety) and prevention (through research, training, information and environmental education). ARPAV achieves its goals using technical and scientific skills that become its distinctive characteristic, putting it apart from other administrative bodies and identifying its mission.
Ospedali Galliera Genova
The National Hospital "Galliera Hospital" (established as Opera Pia De Ferrari Brignole Sale) owes its origins to the generosity of the Marchesa Maria Brignole Sale, Duchess of Galliera, who built it between 1877 and 1888. Over the decades (in 2008, the celebration of the 120 years) the entity has retained a special position among the public health facilities, while maintaining its legal personality in the presence of the reforms such as the law n. 132/68, no. 833/78, and, more recently, D. L.vo 502/92 and subsequent amendments and additions.
ARPA Emilia Romagna
ARPA is the Regional Agency for the Prevention and the environment of Emilia-Romagna. Its activities are aimed at supporting local, regional and national deciders, to the economical world, to the citizens of the Region. Arpa Emilia-Romagna is part of a national network of agencies, composed by the Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA) and 21 regional (ARPA) and provincial (APPA) agencies.
ARPA Tuscany
ARPAT has been active since 1996 and has been recently reformed by Regional Law no. 30/2009. Through a network of Provincial Departments and sub-provincial Services within the region, ARPAT ensures the implementation of regional guidelines in the field of prevention and environmental protection. The Agency, dynamic and open to participation, serves the institutions and all citizens, enabling them to adopt informed and ecologically sustainable behaviors.
