There are several use cases of the hyerarchical selector of territorial organizations' names (Regions, Provinces and Communes), released by RedTurtle and by the Emilia Romagna Region in the spirit of PloneGov Italia.

Example of use of the "Enti Territoriali" selector

The Plone product for the cascading selection of Territorial Organizations starting from their respective region and the province, already cited in our recent post about the Guardia di Finanza, was released in the public domain yesterday, and it can be freely downloaded from the Pypi repository by anybody willing to use it.

Developed for the Emilia Romagna Region, this add-on includes the lists of the organizations' names stored in the ISTAT public domain databases.
